There is still time to apply for Energy Assistance! Ohio Valley Opportunities’ Energy Assistance Program still has funding available to help qualifying households in Jefferson, Jennings, and Scott Counties. If you have not received assistance since November 1st, 2016, you may qualify for help with your heating and electric bills. Assistance is available for both current and past due heating and electric bills. A disconnection notice is not necessary in order to apply; you only have to be income eligible to receive assistance. The OVO Winter Energy Assistance Program will run now through May 12th, 2017. Individuals and families are encouraged to apply as soon as possible since funding is limited and distributed on a first come, first serve basis. To request an application, schedule an appointment, or get information on the program, please call (812) 265-5858. Applications can also be downloaded at www.ovoinc.org. Apply today, and let OVO help you get caught up on your heating electric bills from the winter or help you get ahead moving into the spring!
OVO provides all of its services without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, or status as a veteran.
