To increase the energy efficiency of dwellings owned or occupied by low-income persons. Reduce their total residential expenditures and improve their health and safety. Our weatherization program gears to low-income persons who are particularly vulnerable. This includes the elderly, persons with disabilities, families with children, high residential energy users, and households with high energy burden. Weatherization is received at no cost to the client. All dwellings eligible will be audited but not guaranteed weatherization benefits.
According to the Department of Energy, families receiving weatherization services have, on average, savings of $437 dollars on annual energy bills.
OVO provides all of its services without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, or status as a veteran.
